koziol is Company of the Year 2009

The approximately 700 companies of the consumer portal “Ja-zu-Deutschland” have cast their votes and nominated the koziol »ideas for friends GmbH Company of the Year 2009.

 

The award ceremony took place on 19 April 2010 at the koziol Glücksfabrik in Erbach in the Odenwald forest.

 

The award represents an important distinction and confirmation of Germany as a business location, and not least for the company’s recent investments in new machinery and the building of the Glücksfabrik last year.

 

For the past 83 years koziol has been developing and manufacturing its products exclusively in Germany. The complete manufacturing of the products from idea to boxed article is housed in one building and in the business location Germany. All articles in terms of material, colour and manufacturing process meet the highest ecological standards; utmost importance is placed on a resource- and energy-efficient method of production. In January 2010 koziol successfully introduced an Environmental Management System conforming to the DIN EN ISO 14001:2009 standard.

 

„Ja-zu-Deutschland“ is a consumer portal that solely represents companies producing in Germany. With around 700 participating companies, “Ja-zu-Deutschland.de” is Germany’s biggest non-commercial initiative for products „Made in Germany“. As of 15 May, Ja-zu-Deutschland will be continued as a registered association. The Company of the Year award has been awarded since 2006; previous prize winners were the well-known brands PUKY, ADO, and TRIGEMA
